ABOUT

Greetings to all, 

 

My name is Jessica Burdi and I just want to take a moment to thank you all reading my biography thus far.

 

 My journey through the wellness industry began in 2008 when I took my first vinyassa class at a Moksha Yoga Studio and fell in absolute love. Since then I have practiced daily, obtained three different yoga certifications, intensely studied meditation in Hawaii and have worked one-on-one with elite hockey players and hockey teams in Markham. After finding great solace in my practice and helping others find there’s, my body felt it needed to reap the deeper benefits of physical conditioning which eventually led me to running, attending various boot camp style classes and lifting weights. Coming from a ten-year competitive dance background and being a very active individual, this new found aspect of fitness left me feeling my absolute best and wanting to share the sentiment with others. Today, I am continuing to do so by instructing yoga and body resistant style classes at Sunset Point and other yoga studios and fitness clubs here in Collingwood. Additionally, I’m educated in Holistic Nutrition and firmly believe that the key to achieving optimal health is consuming a nutrient dense diet packed with whole foods, green veggies and a lot of love! 

 

Off my mat I enjoy laughing the days away with my partner and our son, reading, traveling, eating delicious foods and spending time outside. I'm really looking forward to the next phase of our lives here in Collingwood, and hope to help as many people reach their health and wellness goals on the way!
